New Aadhaar Service Charges Applicable from 1st October 2025

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has announced revised service charges for Aadhaar enrolment and update services, effective from 01 October 2025. These updated rates apply across all Aadhaar Seva Kendras (ASKs) and authorized centres throughout India.
🔹 Free Aadhaar Services

Aadhaar Enrolment – Free for all residents (including children)

Mandatory Biometric Update (with or without demographic update) – Free of cost
These services continue to remain free, ensuring that every resident can obtain or update their Aadhaar without any basic enrolment fee.
🔹 Paid Aadhaar Services

| Demographic Update (Proof of Identity / Address Upload) | ₹75 | Updating name, address, date of birth, gender, mobile number, or email ID with supporting documents |
| Biometric Update (with or without Demographic Update) | ₹125 | For fingerprints, iris, or facial photograph updates (applicable for residents aged 5 years and above) |
| Biometric Update (Aged 1 to 5 Years) | ₹75 | For mandatory biometric updates after age 5 |
| Download and Print Aadhaar (at Centre) | ₹30 | Printing a copy of Aadhaar from UIDAI’s system |
| Home Enrolment/Update Service | ₹350 | Home visit for Aadhaar enrolment/update |
| Per Additional Resident (Home Visit) | ₹200 | Additional charge per extra resident during the same home visit |

Updating multiple details (biometric or demographic) in a single visit will be counted as one update request.

All charges include applicable taxes.

Residents are advised to visit only authorized Aadhaar centres or Aadhaar Seva Kendras for these services.
