SSC CGLE 2025 Inspector Posts: India Post Invites Postal Circle Preferences from Selected Candidates
The Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, has issued a notification inviting Postal Circle preferences from candidates recommended by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for appointment as Inspector Posts through the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE), 2025. A total of 40 candidates have been recommended by SSC for appointment.

Allocation of Postal Circles
The selected candidates will be allotted one of the 23 Postal Circles based on the following criteria:
Merit/Rank, order of preference, and availability of vacancies.
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) will be allotted Postal Circles first, subject to vacancy and their submitted preferences.
Remaining candidates will be allotted circles based on merit and preferences.
Candidates who do not submit preferences, or provide only limited preferences, will be allotted a Postal Circle randomly, subject to vacancy after all other allocations are completed.
Submission of Preferences
Candidates must submit their Postal Circle preferences in the prescribed Annexure-II format along with a self-attested copy of their Identity Card:

The subject line of the email should be:
"CGLE IP 2025: Roll No. followed by Name of the Candidate".
Important Instructions
Candidates are advised to provide preferences for all 23 Postal Circles to maximize their chances of securing a preferred posting.
Once submitted, the option/preferences cannot be revised.
Requests for changing the allotted Postal Circle after allocation will not be entertained under any circumstances.

The notification includes the following Postal Circles for preference selection:
Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, North East, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.
This notification is a crucial step in the appointment process for Inspector Posts (CGLE 2025). Candidates are advised to submit their preferences carefully and within the stipulated deadline, as the allocation process is final and no subsequent changes will be permitted.
