India Post has released the latest list of service charges applicable for various Post Office Savings Bank and certificate-related services. Customers are advised to be aware of these charges while availing services at post offices across the country.

The charges cover services such as duplicate passbook issue, printing of account statements, transfer of accounts, cheque book facilities, and more.

List of India Post Service Charges

1. Issue of Duplicate Pass Book

Customers can obtain a duplicate passbook by paying:

₹50 per case

2. Printing of Account Statement

For obtaining printed account statements:

₹20 per case

3. Issue of NSC/KVP Certificate in Lieu of Lost or Mutilated Certificate

If NSC or KVP certificates are lost or damaged:

₹10 per registration

4. Cancellation or Change of Nomination

Customers can change or cancel nomination details without any fee.

FREE (No Charges)

5. Transfer of Account

Transfer of Savings Bank or other eligible accounts:

₹100

6. Pledging of Account

For pledging accounts as security or collateral:

₹100

7. Issue of Cheque Book in Savings Bank Account

India Post offers cheque book facility with the following conditions:

FREE up to 10 cheque leaves in a calendar year
✅ Thereafter, ₹2 per cheque leaf

8. Charges on Dishonour of Cheque

If a cheque gets dishonoured:

₹100
