Photoshoot for India Post Calendar 2024 | Highlighting the key achievements of DOP in Last Nine Years

This is regarding the photoshoot for India Post Calendar 2024. Acoordinated activity has been started by the office of Hon'ble MoC to develop calendars by various departments of the ministry, highlighting the key achievements (photo story) along with meaningful narratives of the last nine years.

2. DoP in last nine years, has done a tremendous amount of work in areas of digital payments, doorstep delivery of financial services, delivery of G2C services, citizen outreach through programmes like Har Ghar Tiranga, Meri Mati Mera Desh etc. A suggestive list of themes along with a mechanism for taking high resolution picture is annexed.

3. Circles are requested to conduct these photoshoots at identified/selected locations after hiring professional photographers. Every picture should narrate a story of how a specific activity/service of the department has impacted the lives of common people, even in the remotest corners of the country. Each picture should be backed by a narrative (not more than 50 words) highlighting beneficiaries, locations, post office name etc. These pictures should be uploaded on the google drive link shared below:https://drive google.com/drivelfolders/1AMcu4CF4yPXi6VixVD-WKXRbVQh8sYAi?usp=sharing

4. The Annexure highlights the themes and various scenarios for taking pictures. It should be ensured that every picture should be of high resolution (1920 x 1080 pixel) or HD fomat. The background of the picture should be clean. On each theme circle may share four to five pictures. For pictures of iconic post offices or postal establishments, a photoshoot may be done from different angles. The details as given in the annexure are indicative and circles may creatively add to the overall themes or scenarios.

5. As this activity is quality intensive and time sensitive, the photoshoot may be started immediately and should be completed by 5th November, 2023 1600 hrs. In case, the picture shared by circle are not found appropriate, circles willhave todo the shoot again so as to ensure that we receive high quality and relevant pictures from every postal circle.

6. DPS(HQ) of circle may be directed to monitor the project personally. Pictures to be uploaded on the google drive link shared above after being vetted by DPS(HQ). Circles to also uploada word file highlighting the narative of each picture, uploaded on the google drive.

7. This is an opportunity for allof us to create high quality visual records of the good work done by various circles. Circle heads are requested to monitor the project personally and direct the concerned team at circle office to complete the task in the time bound and qualitative manner.

Photo Details :

1. High Resolution at least in HD quality

2. Image should be in Landscape mode

3. Image should be well shot in good lighting conditions, and should not be dark.

4. People in photos should not look into the camera and be seen doing transactions or activities

5. The backdrop of the photo should be clean, with no hanging wires, or torn posters. It should be in front of well-decorated /painted office walls and counters with sufficient light.

6. Citizens and beneficiaries should be dressed in regional attire while receiving services.

7. Each photo to be taken as such it narrates a story.

8. Pictures to be taken from various angles.

9. Each Picture to be numbered with a caption ( 50 words ) , [ Name of beneficiary, Location, Scheme and any other relevant details]
