No change in Holiday for Ganesh Chaturthi (Festival) 2023 in Karnataka State for Central Government Employees

 Sub: Grant of leave on 18-09-2023 on account of Ganesha Chaturthi -reg.

This is regarding grant of leave on 18-09-2023. Ganesha Chaturthi festival is being celebrated on 18-09-2023 in Karnataka, whereas, closed holiday is declared on 19-09-2023. however, there will be no change in the holiday date.

The Competent Authority has directed to convey that there not be any restrictions on grant of leave on 18th September, 2023 for festival reason.

If some 'C Class POs have to remain closed, in such circumstances, the same may be notified to the public, so that the customers are not put to inconvenience.
