In line with the existing provisions in case of Express Mail Service (EMS) and Intenational Tracked Packet Service (ITPS), the competent authority has approved the advance payment facility for international parcels and international registered articles.
2. This will enable the customers to enter into contractual agreement with the Department of Posts for utiizing these services through advance payment facility as an alternative to payment in regular cash transaction. The discount facility will not be available for intemational Registered and Parcel services.
3. The procedures for the creation of Customers & contracts, mapping of required Services to the Customer i.e, Product Code, Contract Type, etc., and National Account Facilty (NAF) are available on the link at https://utities.cept gov.in/csi/ (copy enclosed).
