Subject: Budget Check in CSI Budget Module-matter regarding.
Budget Check in CSI Budget Module has ordered to be implemented w.e.f. 01.04.2022. It has been pointed out that Budget Check have been activated by CSI team upon all Heads of Account, while it should have been applied only to Major Heads 3201, 5201, 2552 & 4552.
In this connection, it is hereby intimated that Budget Section of Postal Directorate allots funds to circles/units under Major Heads 3201, 5201, 2552 & 4552 (Revenue and Capital). To control the over/under spending, Budget Check should only be applied to these major HOAs.
As, the budget check should not be activated on Public Head of Accounts (Receipts and Payments) hence, it is requested to arrange for removal of Budget Check applied other than Major Heads 3201, 5201, 2552 & 4552.
This is being issued with approval of the competent authority.
