Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) for promotion of LGOs from Postman/Mail Guard, Dispatch Rider, MTS to the cadre of PA/SAs for the vacancy year 2021 held on 24-10-2021 and DEST held on 20-02-2022.
2. The provisional keys and final answer keys were displayed in the departmental website by Karnataka Circle. The Directorate vide letter nos. F-No.17-08/2018-SPB-I dated 16.05.2019 and F No. 17-08/2018-SPN-I dated 09.09.2021 has specified the paper-wise qualifying marks as under:

3. The Division wise results containing names of the successful candidates (arranged in the merit order of recruiting Division/Unit -wise) is shown in Annexure-I. In respect of candidates of a particular Division who scored equal marks, their inter-se seniority is fixed as per the rules on the subject. Consequent to this, if there is change in the merit list, the same may be communicated to this office for issuing correction. The result is also available in the Departmental websites
(www.indiapost.gov.in / www.karnatakapost.gov.in ).
4. The 1nformation relating to names of the candidates, their roll numbers and categories have been shown on the basis of information furnished by the Heads of Region/Division/Unit. In case there are any mistakes in the details of candidate(s), the same may be intimated to this office for necessary action. In case, if it is found subsequently that any of the selected candidate(s) was not eligible to take the examination under the existing rules/instructions on the subject or for any reasons or in case any mistake is found with regard to announcement of results of any candidate for any reason whatsoever his/her name will be deleted from the list of successful candidates, as the case may be.
5. The selection of the candidates is purely provisional subject to the fulfillment of required conditions of relevant Recruitment Rules. It may be ensured that no Provisional candidate is given appointment without regularization of their candidature. The Divisions/Regions are requested to ver1fy the current status of the candidature of the qualified candidates before promoting the official.
The official/candidate against whom Vallance or disciplinary case ” is pending/those undergoing punishment should not be promoted and such cases should be referred back to this office.
6. The provision of reviewing of results of called SC/ST candidates has been revisited by the Postal Service Board B decided to discontinue, as communicated.” vide Postal Directorate letter no. 4-13.2015-SPB-I dated 08.04.2016.
7. The successful candidates may be directed to accept / join their place of posting on promotion by 12th March 2022, failing which their promotion will be deemed to declined.
8. F1nal Key answers (A, B, C b D series) of the above said exam are already uploaded in the Indiapost website - www.indiapost.gov.in and www.karnatakapost.gov.in . This information need not be sought under RTI.
9. Since the examination has been conducted using OMR .answer sheets, the request for re-totaling/revaluation will not be entertained. Photo copies of answer papers will be supplied to the candidates on submissions of application under RTI Act. Applications. under RTI Act for supply of photo copies of answer papers will be entertained in the following manner.
a) Candidates, who wish to have the copies of OMR answer Sheets supplied are required to pay fee of Rs.25/ per paper with key plus Rs.10/- towards fee for application under RTI Act In the post office and submit their applications through the Division/Unit concerned. (through proper channel only) along with the receipt for payment of fee in original. In turn, the Regional office(s) will prepare a consolidated list in the" Second week of March 2022 i.e latest by 10.03.2022. The Heads of Regions/Divisions/Units should also send a copy of the list by e-mail to rectt.ka@indiapost.gov.in
b) The period. of presentation of OF\R answer paper is one year from the date of declaration of this result: Therefore applications received after one year for supply of photo copies Of answer paper will not be entertained.
c) Photo copies of answer paper May be supplied only to the candidates who appeared for the examination. Therefore the candidates should notably intimate their Roll Number in the application under RTI Act.
