Procedure - Gold bond can be redempted only at the time of interest credit month. For eg. if investor has purchased gold bond in month of June, then interest credit months will be December and June. Then investor needs to submit the application for redemption one month in advance. i.e. in November or in May. All the documents collected from investor should be sent to nodal office and a copy to be kept in the concerned office for the future reference. The same documents are to be scanned and sent to the mgpo.sgb@gmail.com After submitting redemption claim, nodal office will process the claim and forward it to RBI.
